Cmielow Porcelain
The instant I saw the Cmielow Collection I fell in love with it and especially the work of Professor Lubomir Tomaszewski
A unique group of artists evolved during the 1950's and 1960's which had a significant influence on the production and attraction of Cmielow Porcelain worldwide. Apart from Tomaszewski, they included Henryk Jedrasiak, Hanna Orthwein, Mieczslow Naruszewicz and others
I have devoted this page to the influential work of Professor Lubomir Tomaszewski all of which I find stunning. Particular favorites of mine include work from many years: Greyhound 2006, Kitten rolling on her back 2006, Girl in Flares 1961, Susannah with towel 1959, Girl relaxing 1965, Fox waiting 1956 and Whippet 1965
In 1998, Tomaszewski along with others was a founder of a multi disciplinary group comprising painters, sculptors, illustrators, photographers, graphic artists etc., who created the style known as Emotionalisim. This is a complete reflection of Tomaszewski's outlook on art. The group, whose activity was initially limited to the east coast USA, is in a period of a great expansion. One can see the works of the Emotionalists exhibited in the Central and Western USA, as well as in Europe
I sincerely hope that you will enjoy the work of Lubomir Tomaszewski as much as I do
